Distributor bolsters strategic partnership with TE with addition of ERNI connectivity devices for automation and industrial applications
Brussels, Belgium, 9 May, 2023: Avnet Abacus, one of Europe’s leading interconnect, passive, electro-mechanical and power distributors and a regional business unit of Avnet (NASDAQ: AVT), has announced it is adding with immediate effect the ERNI range of products from TE Connectivity, one of the world’s leading makers of connectivity and sensor technology.
ERNI Group AG, which was acquired by TE in 2021, built up global revenues of more than €200M and had developed a leading portfolio of high-speed and fine-pitch connectors for factory automation, automotive, medical and other industrial applications, including robust devices suitable for deployment in harsh environments.
